WILD SOUTH SEAS - an imaginary environment.

The ‘Wild South Seas’ was the title of an exhibition that I had at the Community Arts Centre in Hastings in 2021. The exhibition featured a number of imaginary oil paintings which show some of the inhospitable and unforgiving coast in an area where few ships have ventured. The coast is constantly lashed by storm driven waves and wild winds which, along with the unpredictable currents, have resulted in a number of shipwrecks. These paintings reveal the harshness of this seldom visited world.
